About Best Pilots Now

An aviation discovery and knowledge platform — built to help pilots progress, students understand training, and visitors find schools, courses and a community around flying.

Why we exist

Aviation is hard to navigate from the outside

Becoming a pilot — or progressing as one — means making expensive decisions with scattered information: which licence path, which school, which rating next, which career direction. Much of the honest guidance lives in forum threads, hangar conversations and the experience of pilots who have already made the journey.

Best Pilots Now exists to put that knowledge in one place. We organize aviation by the questions people actually ask: What kinds of pilots are there? How does training work? How do I choose a school? What does the career really look like?

The platform is young and growing deliberately. Rather than inventing numbers or listings, we are building each piece — resources, the blog, Storify, the school directory, pilot profiles and the forum — as it becomes genuinely useful.

What the platform offers today

  • Guides to pilot specializations and training paths
  • A framework for evaluating flight schools
  • Aviation course categories explained
  • An active aviation blog and Storify stories
  • Previews of the pilot directory and community forum

How we work

Principles we build by

Useful first

Every page should answer a real question a pilot or student actually has.

Honest

No invented statistics, fake listings or regulatory claims. We tell you to verify with your aviation authority, because you should.

International

Licensing differs across the world — we write for the global aviation community, not one jurisdiction.

Community-driven

The best aviation knowledge comes from pilots. The forum and Storify exist to carry those voices.
